Research opportunity for healthcare professionals working with acute oncology patients

The ACUTE study explores the experiences of both patients undergoing acute oncology events and the healthcare professionals who care for them. The aim is to better understand these experiences and identify ways to improve support for both groups.

What does participation involve?

  • A one-to-one interview lasting approximately 60 minutes.
  • Flexible format: online, telephone, or in person at Oxford Brookes University.
  • Scheduled at a time convenient for you.

Who can take part?

  • Healthcare professionals currently working with acute oncology patients in a UK hospital.
  • This may include Acute Oncology Services staff or those in related roles (e.g. Emergency Department nurses, healthcare assistants, pharmacists) who regularly care for this patient group.
  • Both qualified staff and trainees are welcome.
