NCRI Living With & Beyond Cancer Group

The NCRI LWBC Group brings together clinicians, scientists and patients, carers and others affected by cancer (also known as ‘consumers’), amongst many others, to coordinate the development of a strategic portfolio of research within the field of living with and beyond cancer

The NCRI LWBC Group aims to improve the quality, and increase the quantity, of multidisciplinary research into outcomes for people affected by cancer at all stages of disease; and for their carers. The NCRI LWBC Group covers all cancer types and patients at all stages of illness, including those without a current histological diagnosis. It includes all aspects of patient and carer wellbeing and will cover physical, psychological, social, spiritual, cultural, and financial consequences of cancer illness.
